The Kevin Pike Duo
From 1997 to 2003, the Kevin Pike Duo performed in Chicago at many different venues and events. The Duo began as a little Sunday night gig in which saxophonist Kevin Pike and bassist Adam Johnson performed arrangements of famous classical works and jazz standards at the restaurant Once Upon A Thai. Kevin Pike has since moved to Omaha, Nebraska, where he plays primarily in a jazz trio and a free jazz duo. Adam Johnson now performs with and arranges works for the Kristi Meredith Quartet in Chicago.
